hi, hello, hola, privet
๐บ๐ป๐บ๐ป๐บ๐ป๐บ๐ป
Welcome to my poor attempt at creating a personal website. I'm learning HTML and CSS as I go, so you're gonna have to be a little patient with me.
I used to be addicted to social media, averaging anywhere between 4 to 8 hours a day. I had an account on almost every mainstream app out there (instagram, tiktok, snapchat, facebook, vk, tumblr, reddit, pinterest, twitter, etc...). However, something was always missing. I never felt satisfied. Not only that, but I also noticed how being addicted to my phone affected my mental, emotional, and even physical health. I noticed having more frequent mood swings, my attention span went down the drain, I had poor focus and constant brain fog, procrastination was getting out of control, and so on.
I didn't feel good about myself, to say the least. I couldn't stop thinking about what was the root of my unease, and then it hit me: digital autonomy. I think we've largely lost that as a society. People are hooked to algorithms designed by people whose interests will never align with yours. They don't care about you. Never did and never will. All big tech cares about is money and they could care less if they have to destroy your creative spirit in the process.
In my unapologetically biased opinion, the only way to reclaim yourself is to quit social media. Creating my own little digital oasis is a small part in my attempt to do just that.
P.S. My website isn't optimized for mobile devices. Please consider using a computer.

โฌ๏ธThe game I'm currently playingโฌ๏ธ

The sidequests in this game are so fricking good (and also absurdly short).
I wonder how many people completely ignore them and just focus on the collectibles and the main story...
